Calling all those adventurers willing to dive into the flow!
This 4 day intensive with Shiva Rea is for teachers and dedicated practitioners of vinyasa and other styles
of hatha yoga who want to integrate a liberating, philosophically and physiologically grounded approach to fluid
movement and flow into their practice and teaching. We will journey into a dynamic and rejuvenating vinyasa flow
practice to provide tools for enlivening fluid power in one's body and life. We will develop a rhythmic combination of asanas
to lubricate the joints, spine, and stiffness of mind through exploring the practices of kriya, circular breathing, and visualization.
Drawing from an embodied recognition of the vibratory flow of life energy, and a deepening connection of pranayama in movement,
we will learn to increase the circulation of prana-shakti and vital energy. Bringing together the understanding of the fluid nature of the
body and the wave theory of modern physics, we will explore the healing application of wave motion for both physical and spiritual health.
During the intensive we will focus on;
1. The development of fluid movement meditations, and mini vinyasas that cultivate wave motion and fluid body.
2. Four new fluid namaskars and prana flow series that integrate a pranic fluid body approach
with circular sequencing, pranayama and chanting within asana.
3. The integration of sound, music and chanting as a vibratory source.
4.The relevance and detailed understanding of the fluid/pranic body for
balancing and healing stresses of our daily lives.
5. The exploration of yogic philosophy through the celebrated tantric texts,
Vijnana BhairavaTantra and Spanda Karikas.
6. Micro-meditations to stay connected to the flow, while living your yoga.
A MANUAL WILL BE INCLUDED!
