In this workshop you will learn the best ways to care for your changing body and develop a routine that you can do on your own, in whichever place you love to workout. Regardless of your fitness level, you will leave this workshop with the tools, exercises, knowledge and confidence needed to ensure a safe and fit pregnancy as well as postpartum recovery. The workshop will blend fitness, strength training and yoga, You will learn how to effectively engage and activate your Pelvic-Core muscles during all movement, maximizing a fit pregnancy and safe and effective recovery. You will also learn breathing techniques to help with recovery while connecting with your baby.
Instructor Karen Gilbert became a first time mom at the age of 39 and is now pregnant with her second son (due November 2018). Having had an unexpected C-section and some diastasis, Karen became very interested in pre/post natal fitness. Through her own experiences and education she has worked with many moms to help them maintain and regain their own fitness and strength.
