PRENATAL YOGA classes will focus on postures that are appropriate for pregnant women

with an emphasis on breathing, relaxation, and muscle toning. Have the best possible pregnancy

and delivery by learning to stretch and strengthen the body, focus and relax the mind, control breathing

and develop awareness. Best of all, meet a lovely community of pregnant women in your neighborhood!

Yoga is a wonderful way to bond with your baby while he/she is in the womb. It also helps you to deal with

all the changes happening to your body; this class will help you build the strength necessary during pre and

post natal months as well as during labor. PracticingPrenatal Yoga will also keep your body agile and help you

recover more quickly after the birth. The Prenatal Yoga classes are a great way to bond with other moms,

relax, daydream, and honor the life growing within you and yourself.

No prior yoga experience is needed.

You do not have to wait to take a Prenatal Yoga class!

You can drop-in to a class at any time for $16...as long as you are pregnant!

POSTNATAL YOGA helps new mothers stay centered, strong and aware during
your first months together. Bring your little one, from infant (4 weeks) through almost crawling age to this
nurturing class. Common postpartum and baby handling/carrying issues, are addressed with toning,
core strength, and stretching. Some stressful aspects of being a new parent are lessened by exploring
our attitudes, learning new coping skills and compassion for the journey. An infant massag
and developmental neuromuscular movement routine will be shared to deepen the bonding
between you and your baby. Laughter and smiles abound in this class! Drop-ins always welcome.

No prior yoga experience is needed.

 

 

PARENT-TOT YOGA

PARENT-TOT YOGA brings toddlers( after crawling to 3 years) to this class that focuses on

guiding parents through a practice to help them unwind from the pure energy of life with a toddler,

build core strength and gain knowledge of poses to help balance their bodies and minds to ease

into the weekend. Toddlers will be welcomed with an introductory sequence to help them gain

confidence in moving their bodies, body awareness, playful movement and a positive physical

activity. They will also be encouraged to follow their parents’ movements as parents move through

poses, though this will be fluid for the children and free play is welcome and expected. This class

is a fun time to relax, bond with your tot and meet other like-minded parents in the community.

Class will end with relaxation and time to socialize—organic snack included!

No prior yoga experience is needed.
