students will work in groups based on ability.

All levels welcome,

from the complete beginner to the seasoned performer.

A fun-filled, exciting week of aerial arts, partner acrobatics, tumbling, yoga, and more! Climb a silk fabric and balance, flip and spin on the Lyra and trapeze. Improve your flexibility and strength. Make new friends, play fun games, and have the experience of a lifetime!

Jill Menard trained in dance at the University of Arizona in Tucson and the Wellington Performing Arts Centre in New Zealand. She ran her own dance studio and non-profit dance company in New Zealand for 5 years before moving back to the States. Jill began her aerial training at the Asheville Aerial Arts in 2008 and did her teacher training at the New England Center for Circus Arts. Jill now teaches and performs aerial arts in the Triangle Area. In her free time, she writes novels, creates healthy desserts, knits, goes on hikes, and has fun exploring life with her physicist husband and her son Oscar.

Abby Hylton an aerialist and youth organizer with the Reintegration Support Network and the Youth Community Project, both based in Carrboro. Abby completed Jill Menard's Aerial Dance Teacher Training in 2014, and then received additional training at the New England Center for Circus Arts. Abby loves teaching (especially children and and young adults), choreography, and performing, and hopes to combine working with youth and Aerial Dance instruction in the future.
